We are community based, engaged and responsive. Josiah Hill Clinic works in tandem with Portland neighborhoods in reducing exposure to environmental hazards and increasing health awareness and protection. Our large and diverse volunteer base delivers culturally appropriate services to communities across the Portland Metro area. By volunteering your time or resources we take ownership of our community together.
JHC provides initial and ongoing training for those involved with our organization. Training topics include health effects of toxins, environmental justice, and family centric approaches to improving the health of the home. Help us ensure the health of our children and expand our capacity to reach even more children.
We appreciate your volunteer time in any of the following areas:
- Outreach and Education
- Translation/Interpretation
- Blood Lead Testing Clinics
