Great news! The Josiah Hill III Clinic has been granted $60,000 by the Portland Water Bureau to provide free blood lead testing and lead hazard reduction information targeted to high risk populations during fiscal year 2011-2012. The City wishes to increase blood lead testing of young children and pregnant women as a strategy for preventing lead poisoning in our community. We are so excited to further our work in the Portland community to protect children from this environmental hazard.
