JHC welcomes our new Communication Specialist, Nicole Staudinger!

April 2, 2010

Nicole began volunteering at Josiah Hill as a social media consultant and is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue the great work of JHC as the new ClearCorps Communication Specialist.  She is fascinated with the expression of society through art, and is currently volunteering with the Wisdom of the Elders, a Native American cultural preservation group, and Orlo, a Portland-based environmental arts organization. She just finished an internship with Idealist.org, where she discovered the incredible power of social media to create change and was inspired to become further involved in the non-profit sector.  Nicole received a Spanish degree from the University of Vermont, spending semesters abroad in Granada and Barcelona, Spain.  After having grown up in a tiny Vermont town with zero  traffic lights, she is excited to explore the intricacies of Portland’s vibrant communities.
